The musical opens in Mozart’s youth. Against a dazzling rock‑and‑roll stage, it portrays the opportunities, temptations, jealousy and immense hardships he encounters as he ventures into the music world, stepping out from under the halo of child‑prodigy fame.

From his native Salzburg, to Mannheim, then Paris, and finally Vienna, his musical genius breaks the shackles of power and prejudice, rising above the corrupt glamour of his age. In his all‑consuming lifelong pursuit, he grasps the favour of the Muses.
