Les Misrable in french concerts

The French‑language concert adaptation of Les Misérables is based on Victor Hugo’s epic novel of the same name published in 1862. Following its Paris premiere in 1980, it grew into one of the world’s most successful musicals and has come to be recognised as one of the four great musicals worldwide. As of 2023, the production has been staged in 44 countries in 22 languages, drawing more than 70 million audience members.
